“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn!” – Benjamin Franklin
I have been married to my best friend for over 20 years, and we are blessed with two wonderful and energetic children who are in their last few years of high school (sniff). Although I have often worked part-time outside of the home since we started our family, I have primarily served as a stay-at-home wife and mother, with no regrets! I consider parenting one of God’s highest callings, biggest blessings, and greatest joys! As a family, we enjoy serving in various ministries together, watching good wholesome movies, eating Mexican food, and hiking any new mountain trail waiting to be discovered! We have enjoyed living in the Lynchburg area since we moved here from Yorktown, VA in 2013.
I graduated from Liberty University with a Master’s degree in Elementary Education, and I have over 12 years of experience serving students in both private and public schools. I have enjoyed working in the classroom environment as a teacher’s assistant to serving as a licensed substitute teacher. I served at Liberty Christian Academy for 3 years, and I currently substitute teach in the Campbell County Public Schools. As an educator, I love working with children, teaching them about God, and helping them to become everything God intends for them to be − for His glory!
