“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6
In 2000, I moved to Lynchburg, VA to attend Liberty University. After graduating from college I met my husband. We chose to stay in Lynchburg because we loved the community that the Lord blessed upon us. In 2010, our oldest daughter was born, and in 2012 our youngest daughter was born. I love to work with children and to see children grow in what they are learning. I enjoy meeting new people, love watching sports, and embarking on new adventures. I am always excited to take the next adventure in life and see where the Lord will lead us.
I graduated from Liberty University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in human services. After college, I worked in intensive in home therapy for two years in Lynchburg and the surrounding areas. In 2009, I began working in the Lynchburg city school systems with children who were diagnosed with Severe Emotional Disorder. I worked closely with teachers and principals to develop treatment plans that would aid in promoting the children to their highest potential and keep them in school. In 2014, I began coaching middle school volleyball and filled in as a substitute P.E. teacher and have done so over the last three years.
